Feels Like Winter Now!

So Wednesday night through yesterday we got wind and snow. It was pretty amazing. I had forgotten what it looked like, a blizzard that is. Last year we were spoiled with a warm winter....but not enough rain bringing us into our second year of drought. Yes, the drifts remind me of the good ol' days. Freezing cold temps, blizzards, ice storms, drifts, and lots of snow. People asked me why my family moved here from Colorado. One reason, my dad felt that God was leading him to take the family back to his hometown. I like to tell people that I live here so that I can be prepared for the Antartica. I have no reason why I'd go there but I've always thought that it would be cool to go there and see the Penguins. Then I would leave. =P Sometimes we all have those crazy, random ideas. haha
Here are some pictures of the snow!

The Rest of Thankful......

Better late then never right? =)

I've decided to name off the rest of the things that I am thankful for. I couldn't get a picture for all them and so I hesitated in posting anything. But here is the pictureless Thanks. =)

19. Health
-God has blessed me and my family with no hospital trips, or doctor visits.

20. Country Air
-I love smelling the fresh air out here in the country. =) There is nothing like it.

21. Rain
-I love the smell of rain and the sound of rain. It means better crops, bright flowers, garden produce, green grass, etc.

22. Thanksgiving Day
-My favorite holiday. I think I like it because people are actually thankful on that day. =) Until Black Friday and then they forget about it. But my family gets together and invite a couple elderly women over and have a fun filled day. I like the food part too. HAHA.

There, all twenty-two Thanks...It was late but I figure better late then never. Now I need to finish my post that is in Draft formation. =)

I hope that ya'll had a wonderful Thanksgiving and remembered to be tahnkful for even the small things in life.
